Begin with two nights in Skopje, allowing time for the Old Bazaar, riverside landmarks and nearby Matka Canyon. Continue into Mavrovo National Park for a night surrounded by mountain scenery before reaching UNESCO-listed Ohrid for two nights. Explore its historic churches, lakefront lanes and the beautiful southern shore towards St Naum.
